He Ain't Lion
Life sucks… And then you get turned into a werelion… Curvaceous, blonde bombshell Maya Josephs is looking for a little action to take her mind off of her recent break-up. Crazy werecats or not, an evening at Genesis is exactly what she needs. And when she meets the hotter than hot, super-sexy owner, Alex O’Connell, the alpha lion shifter is just the man to fit the bill for a one-night stand. Dumped like a rotting piece of meat by her ex, Maya is on the prowl, fixin' to do whatever it takes to get herself a piece of the gorgeous furball. Besides, what’s the harm in a girl having a little bit of fun?
Were What?
Lyla’s on the run from her pack’s omega. Since he’s at the bottom of the totem pole in her pack, this should be simple, right? Tell that to her aching lungs and jiggling thighs. She’s never been one to go with the flow. So when her alpha orders her to submit to mating with the omega she’s not about to start now. Good thing she runs into (literally) a big hunk of man who can make the scariest of wolves tuck tail and run.
Michael’s had enough of weres to last a lifetime. After being caught in the middle of a territory war while in Brazil between the Pumas and Jaguars, he sure as hell doesn’t want anything to do with the trouble following Lyla. But apparently no one told that to his cock.

A non-stop action story with a surprising amount of character development in under 64 pages, I thoroughly enjoyed "Were What?". The story revolves around Lyla, a slightly rubenesque heroine and weremutt, on the run from a not-so-smart werewolf that simply won't take `No' for an answer. Michael is simply an Army man that finds himself in the wrong place at the right time, and with a bit of shifter history un
Can't Bear It
Meg is a lioness on the run. After being used and semi-abused by her pride for more years than she cares to count, she's leaving the pride life behind and heading to Strange Hollow. A new life, a new home, awaits her there and she can't wait to begin anew and settle down to make little lions of her own. Only, the one man who qualifies for the job also has a tiny little problem. He's a man-slut.
Jacob loves his slutastic behavior and wouldn't have it any other way. Men, women, either, both, they all do it for him. Until he meets a certain curvaceous lioness who changes the rules and makes his bear want something he's never wanted... a mate.

I've read most of the Strange Hollow titles and with each one I've grown to adore this town and the kooky inhabitants. A whole town full of paranormal misfits is kind of my cup of tea quite frankly and these guys don't disappoint.
Meggie and Jacob make for a fine pair of opposite extremes; Meggie has spent twelve years being used as little better than a breeding machine (with no results thanks to modern ma
Fired Up
Air, fire, earth…there’s a whole lot of shaking going on.
Erich's earthquaking emotions and fiery temper were enough to get him kicked out of his clan. From the moment he spots the red-hot air fae, Erich can’t wait to find out if the woman who looks like an angel has a devilish side.

Hot, hilarious and rocking sums up this short story by Celia Kyle. This is one of the few times when I would have been happy whether the love interests ended up together or not because this was such a fun read. Kyle's depiction of "Uncle Satan" as a much-maligned older man trying to regain some respect was possibly the best, though I'd argue Samael's...enthusiasm for his job was equally

I couldn't see the "romance" in this short story, and to a certain extent couldn't identify with any of the characters.
The entire story is very short, and a good portion of that seemed to just be Pheobe and Brant having a lot of sex -- which would be ok except I really didn't get much of an impression of their personalities, what brought them together, and what's keeping them together except

On the night of the midnight moon, Sela finds herself locked in an industrial freezer, put there by none other than her alpha's half-crazed brother. Content to spend her weekend as a wolf for her duration at the frozen prison, she doesn't expect the whack job to thrust someone else in there with her. Now, faced with the choice of shifting and tearing into the yummy man's hide or simply fucking through the lust frenzy that accompanies the midnight moon, Sela doesn't know what to do. Decisions, decisions. Yosi should have kept driving right through the town. He definitely shouldn't have stopped for dinner at The Den. When the weaselly wolf, Ron, approached him, he told the man exactly what he thought of him. Which landed him in a nice stay at the local meat plant and a cozy room in their freezer. Not a good place for a yeti to be. Drastic changes in temperature from hot to cold make Yosi feral, and horny.
