Always A Bridesmaid

She's sworn off weddings…

After two failed relationships and six stints as a bridesmaid, Stephanie Ludlow is convinced she’s man-poison. So when her hormones point due south to her sexy—but not so charming—new landlord, she can't help the sparks that fly. It’s a good thing she’s declared a strict "no sex" policy, because Mike Brubaker might as well have “it’s not happening” tattooed across his delectable chest.

He's sworn off love…

Spurned single dad Mike has learned the hard way women are the source of all evil and should be avoided at any cost. And that definitely includes his gorgeous new tenant. But when they're thrown together in the wedding party from hell, both will stop at nothing to fight the heat building between them. Giving in is not an option for either of them.

May the best man—or woman—win.

Great Caesar's Ghost

A traveling showman like Caesar Hawkins isn't about to let his own death come between him and his son Jed's happiness. Unfortunately, the famous cure-all elixer he left behind can't ease the incurable malady of the young man's lonely heart. Jed needs something more potent than tonic. Something a little sweeter...

Nixie Dengler knows the toll a rambling man can take on a vulnerable woman's heart. So what does she see in another rambler like Jed? Actually, it's what she doesn't see that's drawing them together. Can a matchmaking spirit unite two earthly souls in love?

A Long, Sweet Ride

Diana Morgan learned early on to never trust a cowboy. But desperation leads her to agree to take the role of a trick rider with Colonel Texas Mallorey's Wild West Exhibition and Extravaganza in order to provide for herself and her daughter.

Corey Hammersley might look like an ordinary cowboy to most, but he has an extraordinary way with horses. He joins the Wild West Show to escape his troubled past. He never expects to fall in love with Diana, or to take on her troubles as his own. Trust grows as they learn more about each other. But will the secrets in their past bring them together or pull them apart?

The Handsomest Prince

Susan Murphree always heard you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your handsome prince, but she'd settle for one honest man who didn't act like a toad. Her hot new neighbor, research fellow Robert Taj, certainly doesn't look like a toad, but Susan has learned looks can be deceiving. Sure, he has a sexy foreign accent and a drool-worthy body, but anyone that mysterious must have secrets.

Robert's secret is that he's a real prince, heir to the throne in the tiny European country of Cartasia. Now that he's in America all he wants is to focus on his research and be accepted for the man he is, not the title he bears. Once he's fallen for Susan he worries revealing the truth will mean losing the only woman he's ever loved. Can this real life fairy tale have a happy ending?

West with the Wind

More than gold awaits two lovers at the end of the trail.

Mariah Tate and her dog, Worthy, persuade veteran guide Campbell Jefferson to let them join his expedition headed to California. Camp can't say no to the beautiful widow, but his need to protect her soon clashes with her need to keep secrets. Mariah left more than bad memories behind in Pennsylvania and her growing attraction to the stoic but surprisingly sensitive Camp forces her to face up to the consequences of the choices she's made. Camp doesn't know what Mariah's hiding, but he's determined not to let the only woman who ever made him want to settle down get away. He pursues her across the prairies, through stampedes, Indian raids, desert drought and mountain snows. In the gold camps of California, Camp will discover Mariah's secret, and prove the love she wants most isn't out of reach.

I just finished this book and I must say that I really liked it. It was well written and had all the elements of a good story - drama, passion, suspense. It's one of the best historical westerns that I've read in a long time. The main characters Camp and Mariah were very believable in their roles and the supporting characters were also interesting and necessary to the story. I enjoyed the length of the bo
