Shanghaied

Facing her three-hundred-and-thirty-third year, vampire Samantha Thomas is definitely a nightwalker in need of a vacation, though she'd never admit it. Thank goodness she has a best friend to step in when it's needed.

She never expects to wake up on a cruise ship, accompanied by panty-drenching werewolf Perry Andrews, whose real plan is to see if the tight quarters will help him get closer in a more physical--and permanent--sense to the woman he knows is his mate. Maybe he'll even tell her what she is to him, when she's ready to hear it. Until then, her rules, her way.

Their not-supposed-to-be-long-term tryst carries along in a most pleasurable fashion, until it becomes clear there is someone out to harm the Midnight Pearl's nightwalker guests and that Sam is right in the crosshairs of his UV flashlight. Now Perry has to save the girl before he can get her, and that's a tall task when their enemy seems to be able to hide in plain sight!

Twice Upon a Time

In late 2010, while at a booksigning and doing what she loves best--meeting her reader fans--author Tina Gerow was struck with symptoms of a dangerous medical condition known as Arteriovenous Malformation. What followed was a series of operations, a lengthy hospital stay and rehabilitation. We are happy to report that Tina is doing well, though her complete recovery is an ongoing process. In cases like this, medical expenses can mount rapidly and, as it often does, the literary community steps in to help however they can. This book is the result of an outpouring of just a few of Tina's friends from the Romantic Times Faery Court.

This one-of-a-kind anthology includes the literary talents of Eden Robins, Amanda McIntyre, Sahara Kelly, Taige Crenshaw, Vijaya Schartz, Janet Miller, Joy Nash, Liddy Midnight and Kayce Lassiter...and a contribution from you--the buyer of this book! Every author is donating 100% of their royalties to the fund established to assist Tina with her medical bills.

My thanks to my sister fae, gifted and giving people, as well as authors who have stepped up to put this anthology together for Tina's benefit. ~ Amanda McIntyre

Bad Dog and the Babe

Al isn’t happy when a beautiful, upper-class werewolf female in heat struts into his bar looking for her underage sister. Barbara is trouble, proving it when a riot breaks out over the right to mate her, although he can’t complain when he ends up taking her to bed instead.

Barbara needs Al to keep her heat under control while she searches for her sister but there can’t be anything permanent between them. She might be attracted to Al’s “Bad Dog” persona but she knows he isn’t the right wolf for her. Too bad he’s so good at scratching that pesky itch she has at the moment—although she really wishes he’d stop calling her Babe.

Lots of werewolf sex and encounters with vampires, spellcasters and other parafolk lie in their future—just another busy weekend in Hollywood After Dark.

Bad Dog and the Babe is a quick, Very Hot and easy read. I read it straight through because it was hard to put down. Both the hero and the heroine went through the gamut of emotions that make you forget, until the end, that they had only known each other for only a few days. A very quick and spicy treat for any season.

Memories Undone
Captain Albinan barely remembers his wedding night with Livilia, the infamous ice princess of Gal, so being summoned back to her side doesn’t thrill him. What’s worse is that all she seems to want from him is a child. Livilia isn’t too thrilled about having Albinan in her bed either, but he is her husband. An heir could be her only way to save her country from those who wish to seize control.

Fortunately, the pair has caught the interest of a goddess, Gillian D’Amatah. Dreams from the goddess provide the key to Albinan and Livilia rediscovering their passion, and give them the means to have a real marriage—in every sense of the word.

The story moved slowly. I felt it was written in a teaching format to educate and direct lovemaking in its simplest beginnings to an audience who may have never been with a partner before. In that respect, if the reader falls into that category it was a nicely written narrative. If on the other hand the reader is more experienced than the book progressed slow and tediously.

Partners
Novella

The last thing that synth and former pleasure slave Reyna wants on her asteroid belt prospecting claim is a partner, even one as sexy as Steel. She figures the man will quit but the claim is Steel’s means to freedom and he’s not about leave, particularly when he has a hot woman who doesn’t know he’s a synth sharing the work...and his bed.

The pair has everything in common except the truth so when all is revealed it could be the end of their partnership -- or the beginning.

To My Readers: To me partnership is defined by trust so the idea of having two people hiding who and what they are and yet becoming partners and forced into trusting each other made for an interesting story dynamic. Also there was a lot of humor in the idea of highly sexual beings trying to avoid being seen that way while still being highly sexual.

But the big idea was that once love enters a relationship that becomes the real truth, and all the lies can end up irrelevant. I hope everyone enjoys my story as much as I did writing it.

I absolutely adored Cricket Starr’s PARTNERS. It was a sexy erotic Sci Fi read and had a lot of depth to a caste in society which is only considered good for one thing.   The characters Steel and Reyna were very believable and their love was very real. It was a heart stopping warm erotic romance, one of the best I’ve read in a long time. The ending, though a bit unfair to Reyna and Steel wa

The Zelions set up a sexual competition to win her hand, but in the end, it’s the lady’s choice.
