The Last Pirates

The Bayou Prince

A rakish privateer for outlawed Jean LaFitte, must win the trust of the niece to Jean's nemesis to persuade the man to pardon Jean.

However, the privateer soon discovers the willful, red-haired beauty isn't exactly in her uncle's good graces. She's flaunted nearly every one of High Society's rules.

Not that he'd mind joining her in those escapades, but getting her reinstated to her uncle's goodwill means convincing her to act like a proper lady-something a man who spends his time wooing women is hardly trained to do.

Treasure of Campeche

Shipwrecked off the Texas coast a young German beauty is captured by a fierce Carnancahua Indian and subsequently rescued by a devastatingly handsome captain to Jean LaFitte. She is taken back to the pirate's stronghold at Campeche where the captain's beautiful Creole mistress convinces the superstitious men that the woman is bad luck, particularly after a series of 'accidents' take place.

He's soon put in the dilemma of defending Ilsa or siding with his men.

A Pirate of Her Own

A Southern belle is bored with the proper gentlemen of Charleston and longs for the golden age of piracy when men were exciting and dangerous. Naturally, her interest is piqued when a dark-hulled ship, flying no flag, puts into port. Even more intriguing is the raven-haired man who steps off of it.

Is the drastic change about to take place in her life one she's truly prepared for?

Lochs and Lasses

A Knight's Duel: Sir Devon of Clyde soon finds himself in a quandary as he escorts Adele to wed the king's son. Tables turn. Instead of becoming a bride, she becomes a hostage with her very life in danger from his king...and Devon must make the most knightly decision of his life. Sword of the Highlander: When a medieval sword arrives at a costume shop in Haight-Ashbury, Cassidy Gordon has no inkling a time-traveling Highland warrior will come to claim it. But she's not about to let him have the sword. Not even if Niall MacChumail is the most virile, seductive, and persuasive man she's ever met. Border Rogue: Desperately needing money to pay mercenaries, Sir Aidan MacDouall abducts Juliana Colbert from an English abbey and hies back to Scotland to wait for the ransom. Unfortunately, the winsome lass turns out to be the wrong woman . . . and the Earl of Buchan believes in giving no quarter to anyone with a drop of English blood. Dark Kiss: A holiday sounds perfect for Brooke Michaels. She could use a break from her boring, daily routine in London. However, something goes wrong and Brooke finds herself back in the middle of Robert the Bruce's war with King Edward II. Breeding's love for the medieval world of Scotland shines in all these tales. This book would be a delightful companion to curl up with on the beach, plane, or on your couch on a lazy afternoon. I couldn't put it down. ~ Ann Major, USA Today Best Selling Author

"Camelot's Enchantment" was a fascinating book about what could have happened differently with King Aurthur and his knights. I am a huge fan of anything relating to this time period and of fairies as well. This story blended the two topics perfectly. The only complain I could offer for this book is that in the beginning, it is a bit difficult to keep all the characters straight, especially Morgan le Fey and M

As far as romance anthologies go this one had several stories that will stay with me for a long time. The key to great storylines is the unforeseen occurrences that can alter and change a reader’s perspective by the end of the story.  Winds of Destiny by Cynthia Breeding When Michael returns to town to seal an important sale, Katherine will have an important decision to make as to wh

This book begins with Arthur, Gwenhwyfar, and Lancelot as children and follows them through adolescence into young adulthood.   I was quite intrigued by Ms. Breeding’s take on the Camelot legends. I thought Merlin or Myrddin have Morgan le Fey melded with him, always niggling at his ear quite an interesting take on old tales of Merlin having a bit of a ‘thing’ for Morgan le Fey. I&rsq
