In Whispering Hills apartment complex where humans and paranormals live side by side in peace, love really does bite… Talib Eldridge is a vampire who lives with guilt. 100 years ago, he accidentally turned a human to a vampire and has been afraid to get close to anyone for fear of ever losing control as he once did. When he meets Conley Berillo, his commitment to living in isolation is challenged. Immediately drawn to the human, he can’t help but fall in love. Conley has always felt out of place. Never fitting in with others, he too has lived in isolation. When the existence of paranormal creatures is finally acknowledged, he feels an immediate affinity to the outcasts, still feared and hated by humans. Moving to Whispering Hills in Providence, Rhode Island, he knows immediately that he belongs to this new world. When he meets Talib, that conviction is only solidified. When Jonah Townsend, the human Talib had turned about a hundred years earlier, re-enters the picture, Talib and Conley’s newfound happiness is threatened. Conley becomes the tool that Jonah uses to get back at Talib and Talib is forced to make a choice. Fight for his own happiness and risk Conley’s life, or put Conley’s safety first and sacrifice his own happiness

When I started Wrestling with Love by DH Starr I knew I would be in for a treat. I absolutely loved the first book, Wrestling with Desire, and I was very anxious to read the continuation about two characters that I’ve really come to love. Silly me started the book not to long before I planned to go to bed. I thought I would read a chapter or three, put the book aside, and continue it in the morning. WRO

Wrestling with Desire by D.H. Starr is an amazing coming of age story that kept me captivated with it from the first page to the last word. This is the second book I’ve read my Mr. Starr and he’s quickly moving on the fast track to becoming one of my favorite authors. I love that he really gets to the heart of his characters and writes them in a way that makes them not only realistic,
Meant For Each Other
Sometimes your first love is the one that was meant to be.
Craig Harper and Jeremy Finn were best friends growing up. They attended the same school, spent all of their time together, and hung out with the same group of people. It wasn’t until the day before Jeremy and his family moved across the country that they discovered their attraction to one another.
Fifteen years later, they reunite by chance in New York City. Both are in relationships and have established a routine in their lives. But routines and relationships are shaken as they begin to spend time together once again. Old feelings and connections are still strong and the passion that pulls them together is a powerful, soul-searing call neither man can deny.
As each deals with the issues in their own relationships, they begin to question whether the comfort of what they know is more powerful than the pull of what they could have been…and what they might become. Struggling to find the answer, only their hearts can reveal if they are meant for each other.
