Although it has been a few years since I read Wuthering Heights, re-reading the book has me remembering the first time I read it quite fondly.
Sure, there are angst-ridden moments in the book that could, in some ways, leave the reader with an "Oh, come on" sort of feeling, but overall the writing fits the time period.
I liked it as much this time around as the first time I read it. I like the moodiness of

When Emily Bronte wrote Wuthering Heights, she created a timeless couple whose doomed romance would live forever. Heathcliff and Catherine's passions destroy not only themselves but almost everyone they come in contact with. The best thing with this book is the couple finally ending up together for all times.
