The Antaren Affair

Colonel Rákosy Avar is an officer in the Imperial Forces sent to the planet Antares to negotiate an alliance. He’s learned the hard way to trust no one and has only one passion—duty. But when an Antaren kebara is sent to serve him in any way he desires, she proves too great a temptation for the battle-scarred warrior. Although he suspects a trap, he still wants her on her back. In his bed.

Meraya is a woman trained to provide sexual pleasure. A woman whose duty is to serve. She has never known freedom. Or desire. She discovers both in the arms of the barbarian colonel. But Meraya is a pawn in a deadly game of interstellar politics that could cost her everything…including her heart.

When Avar discovers he wants more than the paradise found between Meraya’s lovely thighs, he must play for the highest stakes ever, gambling with the life of a woman he can’t resist. A woman whose betrayal would destroy him.

This is old school futuristic romance at its finest. Wow, this took me back to the eighties where aliens of other worlds had alien attributes, different cultures and different languages. Not Quite a Lady
Length: Short Novel

Independent and unconventional, Indira disregards the rules of Regency society at every turn. She’s sensual, wanton and completely alone in the world. But when she seduces Sebastian Dare, she gets more than just a night of passion.

Dare has never known anyone like Indira—a woman who understands his deepest desires. A woman who knows how to satisfy them. One night of sensual abandon arouses Dare’s predatory instincts, and he’s a man used to getting what he wants. But the brazen temptress of his dreams vanishes without a trace.

When circumstances force Indira to seek help from Dare, sparks fly. For Indira Stuart is no lady, and beneath his polished facade, Sebastian Dare is no gentleman. In stately London ballrooms, Indira and Dare fight their growing passion, and when a man from Indira’s past reappears, a firestorm of power and possession ignites. Indira knows that Dare desires her, but is passion enough to make her surrender her heart?

This is a really good read! I enjoyed this book very much! The characters are very strong and the storyline flows well and makes this a fast read! Your interest is grabbed at the first page, and you are sad to reach the end! The main characters of the Sebastian Dare, a titled gentleman and Indira, a young lady raised in India but she has recently returned to England. They are both very likable!
