The Betrothed

Book 2 of the Fallen Angel series revolves around revelations. Brie and Shade’s relationship ignites and the intensity of it takes Brie’s breath away. She reveals herself in ways to Shade never before exposed to any man she’s loved.

Shade is ecstatic that the love of his life is returning his love for her. He knows beyond any shadow of doubt the doorway to her heart is now open for him to enter. Trust is established and Shade begins to hope he can reveal who he is to her.

When Shade discovers Brie’s life is in danger, he becomes terrified, then enraged at the thought of losing her. As the pressure mounts on the beautiful couple, the kind and gentle angel of the first novel takes a backburner to the fearsome warrior who will protect his hard fought for love at all costs. Shade draws the line, who will be the first to cross? He refuses to yield the one gift both lovers were given when they were born— the gift of choice and free will.

The Wishing Tree

A plain family heirloom—a Christmas tree crafted of chiseled gold laced with sparkling crystals known as The Wishing Tree—has been passed down to the women of the Miller family for generations. Legend has it if a heartfelt wish for true love is made on the tree, one's soul mate will be brought to them by mysterious happenstance.

1958. Simone Miller, top fashion model for the Astor Modeling Agency, is on a break between assignments and decides to meet with her family at their cabin in Vermont for the winter holidays. Joyful times are had by all for the entire week leading to Christmas Day where she inherits the ornament and all the possibilities the gift represents.

1983. Genevieve Jensen mourns the loss of her fiancé who died in a car accident two months prior to the holiday gathering of the Miller clan. At the insistence of her parents, she arrives at the Miller cabin, finds solace and comfort in their established traditions and begins to smile again, sharing in the love and laughter of her close knit family.

2008. Fiona Landis, top notch interior designer, barely makes it to the Miller family cabin to share in the holiday festivities. On Christmas morning Fiona's high-end sensibilities are put to the test when The Wishing Tree appears beside her, calling to the jaded young woman to make her wish.

Will Fiona break the cycle and reject The Wishing Tree? Or will she too succumb to the time honored tradition the women of the Miller clan have shared for well over a century?

The Wishing Tree is one of the sweetest stories I've ever read. It gives the reader a glimpse into the lives of three women who find true love. Each mini story builds upon the next as each generation finds love and family. With the help of a magical Christmas tree aka as the family heirloom each of their lives takes a different path than they foresee.   The first mini story starts off in 1958. Simone,

The love Shade holds for his beautiful counterpart is potentially endangering her mortal life when his choice to become human does not sit well with Uriel, the Archangel of Judgment, who believes their union to be an abomination.  The Archangel descends to Earth to stop the lovers at all costs, even if it means Brie’s demise.  Both angels soon learn, to become human has very powerful consequences, not only for those they become involved with, but for them.  Will Shade and Brie’s love for one another withstand the pressures of human existence?  Will they be able to resist the implacable Archangel of Judgment while guided by the greatest reward humanity has ever received – the gift of free will?

Twilight’s Son is an interesting and down to earth look into the lives of reborn angels and their possible lives on earth. This novel has elements of romance and you will enjoy the struggle the hero and heroine go through.   Shade is a reborn angel. He was the Angel of Earth. He is now on earth in a human body. Not a child’s body, but in an adult male body. He still remembers being an angel
