“Lover’s Pool” by Eryn Walker is, overall, a short, lusty read that somehow, in under 100 pages, made me feel both pity, empathy, relief, suspense, romanticism, and like I was dropped down a (smaller) rabbit hole. Eryn Blackwell’s “Sherrif” was a short novella that was an extremely well written “hot” romance. It wasn’t a ”jump in the sack after 4 pages” book. Ms. Blackwell spent time setting the stage for the romance that occurred between Lorella and Treydon.
