Alexander tried calling Tegan a couple of times over the weekend, but each time when a child answered the phone, he hung up without saying anything.
He sighed with frustration, saying out loud to his phone, “Okay, that’s the way you want to play it, huh? Now let me think, how can I get you to come to me, so I can see you again, and ask you out? Without interference from anyone else?”
Suddenly an idea popped into his head, and he got a wicked grin on his face.
This book is the first in the series of The Reyes Family Romances, about the various romances of a large Hispanic family. The characters who fall in love and get married, continue to demonstrate their passion for each other in the subsequent books as well. The second book, Recipe For Love, has already been published. I will submit a separate review request for that one. The third book will be published in October, and the fourth in February of 2010.
