Praised for "beautifully developed characters, internal conflicts that tug at the reader's heartstrings, and the specialness of a second chance at love," Ginger Hanson writes both sweet contemporary and sensual historical adventure romances. Her fifth book, Ellie's Song, is the second installment in the Tassanoxie series which follows the lives of various residents in a small town in Alabama. The first book, Feather's Last Dance was released in May 2010. A Christmas ebook short story is slated for a 2011 holiday release.

Ginger’s Regency historical romance, Lady Runaway, published by Twilight Times Books marks a change of pace from her two earlier award winning Civil War historicals. Her articles have appeared in newspapers, magazines and ezines. She also spent several years as a clean up writer/copyeditor of FAA handbooks.

"Ten Lessons I Learned from Writing Quest for Vengeance" appears in the ebook anthology, How I Wrote My First Book: The Story Behind the Story, a compilation of writers' experiences writing their first book.

A Christmas Diamond for Merry

Every Christmas for the past eleven years, Merry Anne Martinnelli has wished for the chance to have a "do-over" and accept Josh Johnson's marriage proposal. She doesn't know Josh wishes for a second chance, too. Or that he has returned to Tassanoxie in the hopes of mending the rift.

Josh conspires with Merry Anne's brother to set up a meeting with her, unaware his house has become the target of a burglary. When the unsuspecting Merry Anne tries to deliver a pizza, two burglars answer the door, drag her in the house, and lock her in a kitchen pantry with the unconscious homeowner.

Suddenly, Merry Anne has the future she's dreamed "the house, the dog, and the 2.5 children" within her grasp. Will she be able to forgive Josh for breaking her heart, not once, but twice? Will she get her Christmas "do-over" wish?

Lady Runaway

Fleeing arrest by a spurned suitor, Lady Riana Travistock heads for London where she is knifed in a street brawl when she helps a man attacked by footpads. Luckily for Lady Riana, the victim of the attack is army surgeon Captain Devlin Carrington who takes her home to tend her injury. When Dev cuts off her blood-soaked chemise to stitch the knife wound, a fortune in jewels spill out. Has he saved a lovely jewel thief only to watch her hang?

Ellie's Song

Take one heroine and hero gripped in relationship limbo. Stir in a possible media scandal. Sprinkle lightly with a three-year-old child. Add one potential mother-in-law, a former boyfriend, a celebrity reporter hot for a story break and a Hollywood starlet. Knead above ingredients. Cover and let rise in a warm place. Bake for 31 chapters. Yield: Ellie’s Song, the story of shy folk artist Ellie Kellson who loves country singer Lane Walker, but abhors the media attention he needs to be a successful singing artist.

Feather's Last Dance is about Faith Featherstone, a teen rebel and Justin Worthington, her old boyfriend.  They are trying to do the right thing for once, Faith gave up the child she and Justin had.  The only problem is she never told Justin and now she has custody of their son since the couple she gave him to have died. I really wanted to rate this higher. It wasn’t a bad story.
