For Garrett, P.I., loyalty and love come a close second to survival...
Garrett's attempt at domestic bliss with the fiery Tinnie Tate is sidetracked when he waylays a pair of home intruders and learns they've been paid by an unknown source to kidnap Tinnie. Gilded Latten Bones by Glen Cook continues his Garrett, P.I. series with the next title in its metallic theme. This frequently irreverent noir detective story is peopled by fantastical beings that have a wide range of powers. Garrett has become complacent in his position as lapdog, ahem, companion, to Tinnie Tate and has renounced his former habits of investigation as well his accustomed habitat in TunFaire
