Rock and a Hard Place

Determined to outdo each other, business rivals Sean and Andrew land themselves in hot water when their private feud spills over at a very public charity auction. With neither willing to back down over the dream vacation at stake, they're told by their boss that they're both going and that they're to return as friends.

As fate would have it, their plane crashes and they wash up on a desert island where their feud is as likely to doom them as the lack of food and their inability to start a fire. But there's enough heat between them to set sparks flying once out and proud Sean discovers that Andrew's gay, but determined to remain in the closet.

Rescue comes, but brings with it new challenges. They're whisked back to their old lives with secrets to keep and a shared passion that makes it impossible for them to stay apart for long.

Choices must be made, new paths taken, and two men who have always been good at fighting find themselves, finally, with something worth fighting for: each other.

When their dom moves away, replacing him turns out to be trickier than they’d thought and the two of them are getting desperate. Enter Liam, a friend of their former dom, deliciously sexy and stern, ready to spank them into shape -- and he's straight.

It’s all going so well, but can Liam separate his growing attraction to his two young subs from what they do during their sessions? And can Austin and Jay handle the discovery that Liam means more to them than he was ever supposed to?

Gambling on Love

Eleven years ago, Gary left town when he was outed, and broke Abe’s eighteen-year-old heart. Now he’s back, crashing into Abe’s truck during a blizzard, as arrogant and stubborn as before—and just as irresistible.

Time has changed both of them in ways they never imagined, but the heat that flares between them is enough to thaw any ice. As Abe discovers just what Gary did to survive in the city, and Gary realizes the boy he only ever kissed has grown into a man with needs that match his own, they start to fall in love all over again.

But with Gary determined to carry out one final order from the rich older man he’s been living with—and obeying—for years, a dead man’s plans might split the two of them apart, this time for keeps.

Gambling on Love by Jane Davitt is going to be a hard book to review. On one hand, Ms. Davitt really has a way of pulling you into the world that she creates for her characters. I've read several books written by her and she never fails as an author to pull me into the storyline and makes me care for the characters she writes about. Gary and Abe were best friends all through their childhood. They grew up on

Karl Blake's good at a lot of things: killing bad guys, rescuing hostages...and looting priceless diamonds, but when a bullet ends his career as a mercenary he discovers that he's really bad at living in a huge house with nothing to do. A shy, oddly sexy gardener with an unexpected liking for rough sex seems just what the doctor ordered for his boredom. But Adam's got secrets that make Karl's seem mundane, and if the two of them are going to find a future together, there's a lot more to deal with than dandelions in the lawn.

With the past and the present combining to push them apart, betrayal, hurt, and mistrust around every corner, the two of them need to focus less on labels and more on what they are to each other.

Because a rose by any other name...

He gets a kick out of buying a huge lot of books and going through them. Since being surrounded by books is a major part in his life, he also works at the British library where

I am quickly becoming a fan of Jane Davitt and Alexa Snow. Bound and Determined was a refreshingly unique BDSM themed erotic romance. It captivated me from the first chapter and kept me enthralled with its character driven storyline. Both heroes were so well written and likeable that I rallied behind them and rejoiced at how far both characters had developed throughout their journey together.&n
