Although born in Maywood (Los Angeles County) CA, Jerry Race was raised in Tulsa, OK where he graduated High School. He was drafted in the Army on Valentine's Day 1967 and spent a year in Vietnam; followed by another year in Germany. He then went on to graduate from acting school in Hollywood, CA and worked in several feature films in the early 1970's.
