Crescendo

Leslie has no use for long term attachments. She’s seen firsthand how fickle love can be. Better to keep things casual and walk away before someone else hurts you. Even when walking away leaves a wound that won’t heal.

Seth and Joshua are the two most successful Family Law attorneys in Boston. But their job can’t fill the void in their lives. Linked together by a lifetime of shared abuse and neglect, they want a woman who can complete their relationship, both in and out of the bedroom.

A legal issue leaves Leslie with nowhere else to turn and she strikes a devil’s bargain with the two sexiest lawyers in Boston. But her resolution to keep things light crumbles when their passion overflows the bedroom. When the past comes knocking, Leslie must choose retreat or the chance of a lifetime. In the end, she can only hope the crescendo leads to an encore.

Strung Out

Who said money can't buy everything?

Erik Aasen has never failed to get what he wants. If money equals power and power equals influence, then Erik is at the top of the social strata. But when fate tosses a sexy classical musician named Talia Davies into his path, Erik discovers that the one thing he wants more than anything else is priceless.

When a one-night stand with Erik becomes much more than she ever could have imagined, Talia realizes she's in way over her head. Growing up with nothing means understanding compromise. But the only thing Talia has is her self respect and that isn't for sale at any cost. Not even when Erik is the buyer and the price is millions.

It doesn't take Erik long to realize that Talia is worth everything he has. But a lifetime together might be more costly than either one of them expected. When worlds collide and the sheets catch fire, both will have to place a value on love, trust, and loyalty.

Sold into slavery after her family was brutally murdered, Tavish has spent all her life in a seedy brothel. Arousal is a commodity to be bought and sold, and falling in love always comes with a price tag attached. Those are the rules, until her world collides with a Bondsman named Xave.

Xavier Kovuchenko has made a career of tracking the deadliest criminals all over the known universe. His cold, methodical style leaves no room for relationships. But when Xave’s latest job lands him with Tavish for a partner, everything changes. His solitary existence is suddenly full to bursting with pleasure--from the hottest sex he’s ever experienced fueled by an insatiable lust that goes both ways.

Tavish is a walking contradiction, hot one minute and cold the next, and she's driving Xave crazy. But when their pasts collide and the dust settles, he's got to decide whether to let go and move on or grab the dagger by the tail and hang on for the ride.

Daggertail was a hot Sci-Fi by Kaitlin Maitland. I had never read a book by this author, but I'll be sure to check out more of her work. The heroine Tavish has had a rough life to say the least and she proved to be a strong heroine for the superhot hero bondsman, Xavier Kovuchenko. You could feel the sparks flying between these two the moment they meet. There was a lot of great action to satisfy any lover o
