A Scandalous Scot
A scandalous new tale of love in the Scottish highlands from the queen of the Scottish historical romance, Karen Ranney.
My True Love
Anne Sinclair has been haunted by visions of a handsome black-haired warrior all her life. His face invades her dreams and fills her nights with passionate longing. So the beautiful laird's daughter leaves her remote Scottish castle, telling no one, to search for the man called Stephen--a man she does not know but who fights in war-torn England, a place she has never seen. Stephen Harrington, Earl of Langlinais, never expected to rescue this unexplained beauty from the hands of his enemy. And yet, when their eyes first meet, he feels from the depths of his soul that he should know her...that he needs to touch her, and keep her by his side forever. For unknown to both of them, they are in the center of a centuries-old love...a love that is about to surpass their wildest dreams.

When love spans hundreds of miles, across two countries, and connects two lost souls long before they will ever physically meet, you know that something special is in the works. My True Love is truly something special!
The daughter of the laird of Dunniwerth, Anne Sinclair's childhood was a bit hard, though to an outsider they would think she had it all. And in many ways she did—but she wasn't spoiled by it,
A Scottish Love
Shona Imrie should have agreed to Gordon MacDermond's proposal of marriage seven years ago -- before he went off to war and returned a national hero -- but the proud Scottish lass would accept no man's charity. The dashing soldier would never truly share her love and the passion that left her weak and breathless -- or so she believed -- so instead she gave herself to another. Now she faces disgrace, poverty, and a life spent alone for her steadfast refusal to follow her heart. Honored with a baronetcy for his courage under fire, Gordon has everything he could ever want -- excerpt for the one thing he most fervently desires: the headstrong beauty he foolishly let slip through his fingers. Conquering Shona's stubborn pride, however, will prove his most difficult battle -- though it is the one for which he is most willing to risk his life, his heart, and his soul.

I just finished reading "a borrowed scot" by Karen Ranney :) it was a great book and I really enjoyed it. She has a way of making her characters come alive that I really enjoy. I could picture the morose Montgomery and troubled Veronica and watch as they found each other and discovered love. It was easy to picture the beauty of the highlands and the wonder of their flight.
It was a great book and I would def

Sold to a Laird
Lady Sarah was the daughter of the Duke of Herridge, and had come to expect almost anything of her father. When he insisted that she marry a perfect stranger, a man who was nothing but an adventurer, he went too far.
She might have married to save her mother, but she wasn't going to like Mr. Eston. Nor was she about to share her life, her thoughts, or her bed with him!
He was the most maddening man, forever challenging her. Why, for example, did he insist on being naked most of the time?
Douglas Eston hadn't expected to find himself married to a woman so much more elevated in rank than he. In fact, he hadn't any rank at all, growing up an orphan on Perth's streets and alleys. But he'd become an inventor, of sorts, and along the way, made himself wealthy.
The woman he'd met in London stunned him, and as he grew to know her, elicited his admiration, summoning feelings he'd never thought to have.
Now, all he needed to do was convince Lady Sarah to give their marriage a chance.
