Punishing Rose

For ten long years, Jon Paul plots revenge against the Congress of Mornella for destroying his home. Once he seizes control of their government, all will die. Except one. He'll extract a different form of payback from Rose DeSantin. The figurehead will serve as his personal sexual plaything. He'll spank, tease and test her limits until she gives him the information he desires. Absolutely nothing can go wrong-until he restrains the sultry beauty inside his cabin and measures out her punishment.

Rose endures the crudely arousing torment at the hands of the filthy pirate who has kidnapped her. Will his method of revenge force her to tell all her secrets? The gentle probing of his fingers, the hot, consuming kisses from rum-flavored lips are impossible to ignore. Even as her body burns with shameful desire, Rose must remember he's the enemy. As their lust burns higher, Rose is torn between duty and desire.

Rose DeSantin is a political leader in Mornella where the government has decided to eschew technology and return to simpler times. Believing in non-violence they've dismantled their military. When a rogue ex-military group decides to wage war on them, Rose sends everyone into hiding and hopes to diplomatically solve the problem. Then she discovers the militia is being led by John Paul, a man she once loved

Taming an Angel
As a final installment in a military career wrought with horrid events, Jess is sent to rescue a Braugh warrior and his men from prison. All she wants is to be safely on her home planet to forget her throwback status and find a normal existence. The warrior’s intimidating size and raw strength contrast with his tender nature, skillful lips and gentle touch, awakening sexual urges she thought had been stripped away years prior.

Shane knows the piercings adorning Jess’ body once created pain and taught her to suppress arousal and desire. And he knows what’s needed to take her beyond the torture. But providing a sexual release may prove easier than convincing her something stronger lies between them. All he needs to claim his angel, in every way, is her consent.

Reader Advisory: Shane’s men have the privilege of watching him receive a torturing blowjob from Jess behind his prison bars. A little treat for the voyeur in all of us!

I found the story a little difficult to follow, but I have to think it's because I have not read the sequel Taming a Raven...even though this book was said that it could be read alone. I found the need for having Jess perform the mentioned "blow job" on him a little odd and didn't really see the need for it. I think that if I would have read the Taming of Raven first I might have a better understa

Taming a Raven
Book Length: Novel

After technology fails the Governance, Gage is sent to fetch a raven tracker to locate the president’s abducted son. He acquires her from a warm, arousal-scented breeding bed.

Reina is captivated by every aspect of the battle vessel Raze, and the handsome, foreboding general who commands it. To accomplish the mission and keep her clan safe, she must trust and serve Gage.

As Reina deploys her powers to aid the Governance, Gage learns that controlling and taming his raven requires more than he first imagined. Military protocol is forgotten as he uses her sexual hunger to teach trust, restraint and control. Her ultimate willingness to submit could mean the difference between life and death.

Reader Advisory: There’s a short scene of F/F pleasure—watched by our hunky hero, of course.

Taming a Raven puts Kathleen Lash on my list of authors to be taken note of. I enjoyed the futuristic setting, the novel concept of "ravens", and the very amusing, very entertaining relationship between Reina and Gage. There were a couple of rough patches, but the story is still outstanding for all of that. My main problem was how unfeeling, chauvinistic, condescending, and unrelenting Gage appe

Forbidden Thunder is a solid good book. While I wasn't falling out of my chair in humor, nor holding my breath in suspense, I was entertained.  Forbidden Thunder brings us a very caring hero and his love, though reluctant for the daughter of an old family enemy.  Caila was a riot. Her history, as it slowly unfolded, was filled with more interesting tidbits one after another. I loved reading about J
