Lenora A. Moore Dorsey is a passionate writer who was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and moved to California as a young adult. As a child she grew up very shy and to compensate for her shyness she discovered her love of writing as a form of expression. Lenora wrote everything from poetry, songs, and television sitcoms. She even completed her first novel at the age of nineteen. She called this her escapism.
As a divorced mother with two sons, she faced many challenges. Her oldest son has autism. Lenora put her dream of being a writer on the back burner but never far from her heart and mind. Occasionally, Lenora would take time to write children stories and books. This passion that would never leave her has produced her first children’s book “Please Mr. Bear“.

Bailey Bear was having a great day playing with friends Willow and Jenkins then everything changed when they went in for dinner. He was not allowed back out for fear of a break in.
Bailey was reminded that there had been a lot of break ins in the neighborhood. He was suddenly gripped with fear. But, his quick thinking helped save the town of Bearyland.
