I received for this book review, a cookbook that was first printed in 1997, but now It's been revamped and updated in paperback and is called Maida Heatter's Cakes. This is a collection of her favorites out of 175 published cake recipes. That's quite an accomplishment for a writer to have that many award winning cake recipes. Although this isn't a brand new cookbook released, I loved the fact that they have published this book in paperback for the new fans, such as myself, who have previously missed out on the older books Ms. Heatter wrote years ago. This book is a compilation of sections from previously published books she wrote.
