It’s a feel good story about when a brother makes a sacrifice to keep his older brother and father out of jail and he lets true love pass him by. Levi Wallace loves Arabella Trask, but out of mi

Genre(s): Historical Romance
I found The Last Promise to be a sweet 24-page romantic tale about the power of love in the most dire of circumstances. The story itself projects the feeling that if we believe in love enough, that it could change our reality and the way we see and experience the world. Captain Joshua Elliot, having escaped from a Confederate prison camp, is on the run after nearly six months of abuse and neglect in jail.
