A Matter of Pride

Pride goeth before his fall.

Dean Chastell has a reputation for being a troublemaker and something of a lady’s man. It’s not his fault he’s attractive, funny and hell on wheels between the sheets…or that his pranks often leave his victims smarting. But not even he deserves to get saddled with Stacey Bermin for his sins. There’s no denying the woman is gorgeous. She’s sexy as hell and aggravating in the extreme. She’s also prideful, pampered, calls him hillbilly and needs a swift kiss…err, kick, in the pants.

And she’s in grave danger.

He never thought they’d manage to spend a few hours, much less a few days, alone without going for each other’s throats, but when trouble comes calling, Dean finds he’ll do anything to keep her safe. She’s not nearly as cold as she seems. In fact, the princess brings out the prince in him he never knew existed. And he’ll move heaven and earth to keep her safe, out of danger…and in his arms, no matter the cost.

Warning: A trickster cat finally meets his match in a proud feline used to getting her way. Hunters, hijinks and danger abound as the pride comes together for one heck of a battle.

Flight of Fancy

Aidan Marshall isn't like the others who now work as civilians for the PowerUp! gym. He doesn't feel like he fits in, even among the misfits. Being gay means nothing to the people he's with. He can read thoughts and speak with his mind, and no one ever feels comfortable in his presence. Hell, even he doesn't like to be left alone with himself.

When his boss assigns him a mission to locate a stolen book, he jumps at the chance to use his psychic abilities and prove himself a valuable part of the team. He's fine working on his own and has nearly located the book he's been sent to retrieve when Gavin Caldwell screws up the entire case.

Gavin is a pain in the ass. He's a pencil pusher and a leftover from the administrative nightmare that was the PWP. A nice guy to have on your side when it comes to balancing the books, but otherwise he's nothing but a burden--as is clearly evidenced when he botches the case. It doesn't help matters that he's exactly Aidan's type.

With no recourse but to use Gavin to right the wrong he's done, Aidan and Gavin go undercover in a high-stakes operation posing as lovers--where anything and everything goes. In the course of their mission, Aidan finds out there's much more to Gavin than meets the eye, and much more to himself than he'd ever thought possible. Because with Gavin, Aidan learns how to love not only another man, but himself as well.

Outfoxed

When a cat tries to outsmart a sexy fox, only love can save him.

Grady Chastell, Shifter extraordinaire, wants to take a mate—the delectable Gabby Easton. She’s sexy, kind, and has the extraordinary ability to shift into two animal spirits, cat and fox. There’s just one problem.

Gabby won’t take him seriously.

He’s at his wits’ end trying to convince her to give him a chance when trouble comes knocking at his door. Before he knows it, he’s unwittingly party to one whopper of a lie that finally has Gabby where he wants her…but will she feel the same when she realizes she’s been duped?

It will take all his cunning, the help of the pride, and a good bit of mutual trickery to convince his foxy lady to forgive and forget. And more, to love him—the cat born to be hers.

Warning: Arrogant cats who think they can outsmart the slyest of foxes. A cat war, devious siblings, hijinks with consequences, and the threat of sexualized danger as a foxy feline turns the tables on a man who likes to tell tales.

I really enjoyed the fictional setting for this book series, a town full of various shapeshifters. I hate having to say this but, the whole premise of this book was weak. A lot of romances are guilty of this flaw, but it’s the way that the big misunderstanding is handled. As a reader I just wanted to knock some sense into Grady's head. Every shifter in town knew that Grady was crazy about Gabby, but becau

Fortune's Favor

Nathan Kraft needs more than the life he's currently living. Once an agent for the Psychic Warfare Program, he's now reduced to helping civilians get in shape at the PowerUp! gym, where his buddies and he continue to train their minds in secret. He's always up for some excitement, in the form of a job or a man, but lately he's getting neither. Then he's assigned a job, one like he used to do for the government, except this job involves his past.

Avery Holton has butted heads with Nathan since they first met a year ago when he joined the staff of the PowerUp! gym. Nathan gets impressions from touching objects. Avery sees the future. Nathan is fun, loves men, and craves adventure like a drug. Avery likes discipline, is quiet but not closeted about his bisexuality, and does the job like a professional, a carryover from his days in the Marine Corps. Thrust together on a mission that links to Nathan's childhood, the pair will have to learn to trust each other. It will take all their psychic skills and an acceptance of their growing love to defeat an evil out to get Nathan and everyone he loves...before it's too late.

Grayson's Gamble

Grayson Belle is one in a million. Unlike the government's manufactured Circs -- the nation's warriors who've been mutated by the government into men who can shift form -- Gray was born with the ability to shapeshift and has a heightened sense of telepathy. But lately, his world has gone to hell. He's prepared to throw in the towel after his current mission. He's seriously messed up, lusting after his irritating partner, Bas, whom he's not even sure he likes. And then, Al Ross, the rogue Circ he's been sent to kill, turns his heart inside out and his resolve to nothing. He's losing his edge, because he wants to mark both Circs as his own. But if he does, what will that mean to the future he's mapped out for himself?

He'll have to gamble on his instincts to ignore what his head is telling him. Sometimes being rational means less than nothing if the heart isn't happy. And Gray will be damned if he'll let himself lose at love. Now he and his partner just have to convince one stubborn female to take that same chance.

Talson's Net

Kidnapping Rowe Trainer, co-heir to Chartrell Shipping, might not have been the smartest thing Val Talson’s ever done, but he wants answers, fast. He couldn’t have expected the beautiful little bully to be half-human, nor could he have anticipated that she could turn the tables on him so easily. She’s powerful, and he’s learned to be wary.

His violent arousal in her presence makes little sense. Lust he appreciates, but the deeper draw to his rival baffles him. Soon he can’t think of anything but Rowe. When he finds her again, he gets more than he bargained for—attraction not only to Rowe, but to her bodyguard as well. Then add the shock of her Selection—a female Otra’s readiness to mate.

Val doesn’t intend to give in easily. He’ll handle rogue saboteurs, Rowe’s larger-than-life bodyguard, and the idea that he’s entered the Testing, the time in a male Otra’s life when he’s ready to bond to his destined mate. As for Rowe…Val’s more than willing to give her what she deserves. And then some.

RetroCog

A casualty of funding wars and an overzealous Defense Department trying to clean up its reputation after several failed experimental programs, the Psychic Warfare Program (PWP) is scrapped in the throes of its infancy. Its participants are transferred to other defense agencies, but a few decide to leave the government behind, knowing full well their freedom hinges on keeping a low profile and living under the radar.

Ex-PWP agent Noah First is grudgingly settling into life as a civilian when his boss assigns him one of those cases, like the ones he used to do for the government. Given the job of tracking down a stolen painting, Noah finds more than he bargained for when murder is involved. It's his power to see the past in places where emotions run high, and when he tracks the painting down to a touristy mining town, he lands in serious trouble.

Not only does the town's history shout at him with his every step, but he learns firsthand the room he's renting used to be in a bordello, and the inn's manager is the spitting image of the sexy woman in the painting. Noah is increasingly drawn to her, and to the dark needs he normally keeps buried. But are his intense feelings for Lara real, or just an echo of the past? And when he finds the painting, can he take it back to its rightful owner when someone in town will do whatever it takes to keep it, including murder?

Creation's Control

It's all about control...

Now freed from the labs where he was created, tested and tortured, Ryen can't cope with the violent needs pressing him. The men on planet Mardu can't fight worth a damn and he can't chance sex with the females because he doesn't want to hurt anyone. Then there's Drekk, always bugging him, pushing him, attracting him...?

Drekk knows what it's like to have the needs only a Creation can experience. He's learned to blend in with the populace and balance a Creation's desire to submit with his own powerful personality. He'll teach Ryen the same, but it won't be easy. With the help of some 'tough love', he's sure he can show Ryen a measure of peace. In the process, he'll find himself both the master and the slave when he submits to the connection growing between them and falls in love.
