Highland Promise was a delightful book. I especially enjoyed the humorous banter among the heroine and her highland protectors. The story had romance, suspense, and intrigue. I have read highland stories before and this followed the main theme of these types of stories, but it was not a boring read at all. Brendan's realization that he was in love with Faith was a long process that took most of the story.
