Yours, Mine, and Ours

From New York Times bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson comes the next hilarious installment in her laugh-out-loud trilogy featuring an unconventional FBI agent who finds love in the most unexpected places

Its Christmas season, a holiday Cadence adores. Her relationship with Patrick has been progressing nicely, and they are beginning to wonder if it might be time to bring their relationship to the next level...unprecedented in Cadence's life.

As if the high drama of the Secret Santa drawing wasn't enough, there is a new BOFFO employee, Emma Jan Thyme, whose reputation precedes her. She has a doctorate from Harvard, speaks seven languages, and is a remarkable actress...she's never been made while undercover. But she's harboring a secret of her own.

In addition to adjusting to a new co-worker's foibles, shopping for her Secret Santa, receiving strange things from her Secret Santa, and trying to find the perfect Christmas gift for Patrick, a new serial killer appears to have blown into town. Perfectly ordinary fourteen year olds have disappeared each June, now four Junes in a row. The only thing the victims have in common are their ordinariness...and it's up to Cadence to figure out the case before another innocent fourteen-year-old dies.

Ms. Davidson can certainly make chaos reign and give the reader plenty of belly-laughs with her creative writing style. I haven't had the opportunity to read the first book in the Me, Myself and Why? series so I was a bit confused in the beginning of Yours, Mine, and Ours. Once I figured out Cadence shared her body with her two sisters, everything seemed to fall in place and I quickly got involved in the stor

Wolf at the Door

The howlingly good spin-off of the Undead series from the New York Times bestselling author.

Rachel, a werewolf/accountant, is asked to keep one eye on Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor and the other peeled for a rogue werewolf who's itching to start a war. But her attention is mostly on a sexy, mysterious stranger she wishes she could trust.

Undead and Undermined

All-new in the New York Times bestselling drop-dead funny series.

Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor thought she couldn't die. So what's she doing in the morgue? It could have something to do with a time- traveling trip she made, and a foe with a wicked agenda that could finally be the real death of Betsy-if she's not careful.

Vampire Queen, Betsy Taylor just woke up on a slab in a Chicago morgue. But how did she get there? She had just been (literally) to hell and back and was getting to used to the (big) changes she is facing at home after time traveling with her sister, Laura. It also seems they brought back something from their little "trip" to the future and it's not good. Not good at all. Undead and Undermined just might

Undead and Unfinished

Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor returns in the ninth novel in the New York Times bestselling series. Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor is having a tough time getting through the Book of the Dead-until the Devil strikes a bargain. She offers Betsy a chance to finish the cursed (literally!) thing, and finally discover all its mysteries. There's just one catch... Betsy and her half-sister Laura have to go to Hell long enough for Laura to embrace her dark heritage (after a rebellious youth of charity work) and finally make nice with her mother, aka Lucifer. That means interacting with their family's past. In doing so, they're impacting the future in ways they never anticipated. Of course that's what Mother wanted all along. Damn her.

“Undead and Unfinished” by MaryJanice Davidson is a retrospective journey into the past, present and future of the lives touched by Queen Elizabeth “Betsy” Taylor of the vampires. Well, this was a different take on the series. The majority of the book is centered on the time traveling escapades of Betsy and Laura as they manipulate the time stream of people Betsy has come in contact w

Me, Myself, and Why?
From New York Times bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson comes an outrageously funny novel about a highly unconventional FBI agent, a rather odd serial killer, a best friend on the edge, a gorgeous baker. . . and oh, yeah, love.

Sweet and innocent with a twist of girl-next-door, Cadence Jones is not your typical girl and certainly not your typical FBI agent. Just ask her sisters, Shiro and Adrienne. (Wait. . . best if you don't ask Adrienne anything.) But it's her special ''talent'' which makes Cadence so valuable to the FBI and it never comes in handier than when she and her partner, George, get tagged to bring down the Threefer Killer. A serial killer who inexplicably likes to kill in threes, leave behind inexplicable newspaper clippings, and not one shred of decent forensic evidence, soon starts leaving messages that seem to be just for Cadence and her sisters. Could it be that this killer knows all about Cadence's special ''talent''?

In the meantime, love blooms in the most unexpected place when Cadence meets her best friend's gorgeous brother who is in town visiting--and she discovers that he knows her secret too! When attraction burns hot between them her best friend isn't thrilled with the romantic development and this time Cadence just might agree!

Suddenly Cadence finds her unbalanced life turned even more upside-down as she tries to date a baker who wants to get in her heart and in her bed, dodge a pesky psychiatrist, keep a leash on her sociopath partner, while trying to catch a serial killer who's now fixated on her. Some days it's not even worth getting up in the morning.

I have always, always loved every single Davidson book I've ever read. Mostly because they feature her awesome sense of humor and Me, Myself and Why? is no exception! Seriously, at times I was snorting while laughing out loud, much to my dismay when I'm at campus and a cute boy walks by. Oh, well.   In this book, our main heroine is Cadence and she's a triple threat. Literally. She's got

I truly enjoyed this book. The authors brought to life a vibrant new world with interesting twists on the fantasy genre, as I knew it. However, the book does not stand-alone well. Although the authors tried to bring in as much back story as possible in order to explain things, often I still felt as if I had been dumped headfirst onto an alien planet with a somewhat unreliable scamp of a tour guide. When an author reaches the seventh book in a series, people will sometimes wonder if its' worth it to keep tuning in. There was just an article in Romantic Times speculating when a series has jumped the shark and has reached the expiration date. Well, you don't have to wonder about Queen Betsy. I am so glad I got this book for review. I have tuned in for the previous six books and was curious to see what woul

I picked up this anthology because I was intrigued by the title. There are not a lot of paranormals out there that I will pick up anymore.
