Joran, leader of a small resistance group, discovers the Vleth plan to massacre the Sylvani in a fiery ritual. Determined to stop them, he entreats assistance from a high-ranking member of the regime, the beautiful seer Taeja. Together they embark on a mission to elude the Vleth army, infiltrate their fortress and disrupt the fatal ritual.
