All Rowan Blay has of her dead father are a few disjointed memories, a couple home movies, and the secret that he can communicate with her from the grave. When her mom remarries with the plan of moving Rowan sixty miles from her dad’s grave her opinion on the matter should be a no-brainer. Um, no thank you. After her dad stops communicating with her, she’s convinced he thinks the marriage is a bad idea as well.

After the first day in her new home Rowan knows her step-dad is hiding something. If only she can dig up this yummy dirt, break up the marriage, and get herself back to her dad’s grave.
