The “Dungeon Gourmet” really started on an odd note. While I was expecting the overall theme of the novel to gravitate towards a more food eccentric feel, mixed with a generous helping of BDSM, based on the title; it was initially the sexually charged euphemistic chapter inserts of the “Le Marquis De Bond’s Toasted Peach Ice Cream” recipe that blazed with sexual energy.
