I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down to read this book. It was hard for me to get into the story at first and I didn't know how I felt about the hero, Vincent Rutland. But once I got into the story and Vincent's character was revealed more through dialogue and his interactions with the heroines, Eliot Marie and Antoinette, he grew on me.
