Sharon Lathan is the best-selling author of The Darcy Saga sequel series to Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice consisting of five full length novels and a novella. Her newest novel is a companion to the series and will be released in November 2011. A passionate Jane Austen fan, Sharon co-founded Austen Authors with Abigail Reynolds, the blog home to 24 novelists in Austen literature and is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. In addition to her writing, Sharon works as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal ICU. She resides with her family in the sunny San Joaquin Valley of California.

Sharon Lathan has continued Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice with her book Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy. Unfortunately, continuing on such a classic is very hard. Most fans already have preconceived ideas of how the story would proceed and the style they like. There is just something about Jane Austen’s voice that is hard to duplicate. Any author who takes on the job of continuing the legacy
