Next of Kin

Beth Venable has seen too much. Witness to a major mob hit, she's placed in protective custody until the trial. But after her third safe house is riddled with bullets, she goes off-grid to save herself. What the FBI can't do, her kinfolk will.

The beautiful but forbidding Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky welcome Beth back, dirt roads and rustic shacks a world apart from L.A. But her homecoming—even her blissful reunion with strong, silent Ryal Walker—is made bittersweet by the fight she's brought to the clan's doorstep. Hidden in a remote cabin with the man she's always wanted, Beth begins to dream of a new life: her old one. But after so long, with such dangers stalking her…impossible.

But love can distill life down to its essence: an elixir of pure hope, nerve—and the will to survive.

Next of Kin is the story of Beth Venable and Ryal Walker. After the first few pages of this book my first thought was that it was another childhood sweethearts separated by parent’s novel. I admit it’s a theme I have enjoyed in some of Sala's earlier books. However, keep reading and you will find that while this is part of the plot it is not the main theme and does not repeat earlier books with this plot.

Blood Trails

Holly Slade has just discovered her secret identity

Her "father's" deathbed confession reveals that Holly's real father was almost certainly the notorious serial killer known as "The Hunter," and that her mother gave Holly up Holly Slade to save her life. But The Hunter was never caught—and Holly's mother has just simply vanished.

In search of her past, Holly leaves both her home and Bud Tate, the handsome ranch foreman she’ s afraid to love, horrified by the knowledge that the blood of a depraved killer might run through her veins. Haunted, driven, she searches for The Hunter and hopes her mother was wrong.

But her search leads to a terrible truth no one could have imagined, and even Bud's determination to follow and protect the woman he loves may not be enough to save Holly from the terrors of a past become present.

Blood Trails is the final installment of Sharon Sala's The Searchers trilogy. In the series it has been revealed that each of the three Slade daughters are not truly the biological daughters of their father. A deathbed confession reveals that Holly's real father w

Blood Ties

The truth will set you free - if it doesn’t get you killed.

Savannah Slade is not the person she thought she was. The reading of her “father’s” will has led her to a worldshattering revelation: her sisters are not her blood kin—and she may be the heiress to a massive fortune. Her not-quite-fiancé Judd doesn’t care where she came from—he only wants her by his side. But the primal need to uncover her past wins out, and Savannah trades the Montana ranges for Miami’s moneyed oceanside enclaves.

The wealthy and powerful Stoss family is less than overjoyed to find that Gerald Stoss’s daughter has merged from the past. But theirs is a clan seldom troubled by…inconveniences. They’ve always had the means to eradicate any blemish on their perfect lives. One more won’t make a difference.

Reading a Sharon Sala novel is like listening to a Chopin sonata. Like Chopin’s music, Sharon Sala explores the full range of emotion in her books. Readers know that in her books there will be mystery, romance, and ultimately redemption. Her latest work is no exception. Her heroine Amalie Pope is recovering from a near death experience and now is faced with dealing with four escaped prisoners

Sharon Sala is one of my favorite authors. I love her veristle writing style and I have yet to read one of her stories that I did not enjoy! Ms. Sala weaves a tense romantic thriller that tells the story of Amalie Pope. Who after suffering PTSD from a deadly mass murder at the high school where she worked goes home to heal. What she doesn’t expect is to be taken hostage by four dangerous men. She is fri
