Author: Y Correa | Website

Hello everyone, I am Y. Correa, the Author of "In Love With Death". This is the first in my Fate books collection, novels.

AND NOW OF "LA ENCANTADORA/THE ENCHANTRESS" second of my Fate books collection.

I am a Puerto Rican-American, mother, daughter and Writer/Author. My life revolves around my family and what I do for a living (both writing and teaching).

Writing is a passion of mine, I never went to a formal school in order to become a writer, however, I have always had a love for a good book, and I thought to myself one day, "If they can do it... Why can't I?" and gathering together many ideas that floated around in my head, I put them on paper.

"In Love With Death" & "La encantadora/The Enchantress" are unlike any fantasy fiction novel that you've read before. They are interracial, supernatural/paranormal, action adventure, love story. With a little humor and family fun mixed into it. The biggest difference is that, the story is told from the direct views of the hero and heroine, in other words, a first person experience. The author does not narrate the tale, the characters do. This allows the reader to better interact with the story.

Trust me when I tell you, if you like fantasy fiction, you will love, "In Love With Death" & "La Encantadora"

Friends and family have asked me to tell them, how I come up with my stories. Well, it's like this: When I'm inspired to write a story, it starts off as a movie inside of my mind. This movie continuously plays in my head and it sometimes includes some of my own life experiences. Most of it, however, are things that only my imagination itself congers up.

I realize that most Story Tellers, base their stories on similar subjects, however, I've realized that no two stories are exactly the same. Similarities, may exist, but a Writers story is as individual as he or she is. I myself, as a Story Teller, love to get into my characters heads. Into their lives, if you will. Only in that way, can I offer my audience a story and a tale with substance. Something that is worth, telling. Sometimes serious, sometimes sad, sometimes adventurous, and sometimes funny. But, always readable. If my readers are patient enough, to learn who the characters really are.

I truly believe that I get more out of readers, taking the time to read my material, then they do when they read it. It makes me happier then words can say to share my imagination with others.

The Enchantress

“Normalcy”, was not a word recognized by Zita, her entire life was nothing, if not abnormal. Her family, herself, her entire existence, all of it; unnatural. Yet, to her it was nothing but the truth of her actuality. Such, was her life. Making, it to her, normal, as she knew nothing else. Yet, it was what made her whom and what she was. A “Hybrid”!

In Love With Death

A dull roar, that's all I could hear. Souls, that's all I could see... So many people. Some good. Some bad. Some breathing. Some barely breathing. All souls. It was funny what you could see when you stood in the middle of the Emergency Room. Who survived. Who didn’t. All of them, every one, a soul. A soul for the taking. A love story. A fantasy. An adventure...
