When I first started writing Postponing Eternity, the novel was going to be a full-on vampire story but it wasn't flowing the way I really wanted it to. So I put it to the side and continued to work on a story line about Wiccan triplet sisters. When I learned eXtasy Books was looking for manuscripts I finished the sisters' books with Postponing Eternity in mind. That's when the whole idea for my Si'Ludo world morphed into what it is now.

The Si'Ludo books follow beings from another world who escaped from war and destruction in their star system to Earth. The good guys have special powers and psychic vampire abilities and the bad guys have special powers as well and are more like your blood sucking vampires. The Mystics (in print) comprise four erotic romance stories that tell about the lives of three sisters on earth and one lone woman exiled to an icy moon far from her home planet. The erotic series shows the people's sexual natures.

The Prophesy books deal more with why the beings came to earth, the battle between the separated Si'Ludoians and allude to their future. Of course there's romance thrown in between the main characters as they deal with their alienness and humanity.

I'm hoping to continue writing about the Si'Ludo system in a couple more series.

As you know my name is C.R. Moss. I have stories published through eXtasy Books and Devine Destinies. I've always had an overactive imagination and had been creating stories since I started to read. I truly knew I wanted and was going to be a writer when I received an A in English in grade school.

I'm an avid reader. My favorite author is Anne Rice. And I'd say along with Rice another influence of mine would be Stephen King. I consider myself a multi-genre writer - paranormal, contemporary, horror, sci-fi - in both the sensual romance and erotic romance markets. Whatever my muse wants to give me, I take, which gives readers a choice of what to read according to his or her own preferences. C.R. Moss: From the Si'Ludo world ~ Calissa. Then I could hang out with her cute love interest Tarrin. From In the Spirit ~ Tresa. She doesn't take crap from anyone and circumstances still work out for her. From my Dirty Little stories series ~ right now I'd have to say Mary Jane since she gets seduced by handsome devil Ash.

C.R. Moss: The idea for Postponing Eternity came to me in a dream with a heartbreaking scene between the hero and heroine. From that point on the story morphed, as I said. When I write I'll have Spa music playing in the background and sometimes I'll light incense. The idea for my Dirty Little series, specifically the first story Dirty Little Secret, started with someone's myspace page and a song on the radio. Inspiration comes in all forms for me.

C.R. Moss: I'm working on my Halloween story, In the Spirit, where the Grim Reaper is out for revenge on the man, her ex-lover, who sentenced her to a long and lonely existence. I'm developing more stories for my Dirty Little series and am considering a life-changing event for the sexy demon in them. I also have two other projects contracted, one of which is Phil's story (he was a secondary character in Concealed Affairs) where he finds the love of his life.

C.R. Moss: For me one of the most interesting facts about writing is the research. I love to learn. For my books I watch shows particular to what my stories need. I love the Discovery, History, National Geographic and Science channels. I caught a show about the seven signs of the apocalypse. I took notes because I needed the info for a book in a series I'm writing. I also surf the net for information, which was the main source of research for my Si'Ludo books.

Si'Ludo is short for a man's name. In my investigations for a viable alien world I came across a person who thought he found a planet near two stars in the Big Dipper. ~ Back in 1722, a German mathematics professor, J.G. Liebknecht, was examining Mizar with a crude telescope and chanced upon a faint star between Mizar and Alcor. He believed that he had discovered a new planet and named it "Sidus Ludoviciana" or "Ludwig's Star" after his sovereign, the Landgrave Ludwig of Hessen-Darmstadt. His hopes were to flatter his local sovereign in hopes of being granted money. But the reaction from other astronomers was universally unfavorable, as they noted that the "planet" was merely a telescopic star. The object never moved again, and Liebknecht disappeared in a hail of ridicule. Nonetheless, to this day, the star still retains the name that was bestowed upon it by Liebknecht when - for a few months anyway - it was thought to be a planet.

C.R. Moss: I have a wonderful critique partner who looks at my work and I hers. We have a great working relationship and our differences in style and thought processes really assist each other with our stories. My local writing group is also a good source to learn from and bounce ideas off of. I don't see any of this as a hindrance as all the assistance will only help in the long run.

C.R. Moss: I had been researching the market since the late 80's early 90's to figure out what houses wanted what. Then in the mid to late 90's I took a novel writing workshop with plans to submit the finished piece to NY. Unfortunately, life, illness and a few moves got in the way and my plans were put on hold. In 2007 I said "enough waiting" and took the plunge. I had a piece that a friend said would probably fit with her publisher and so I submitted under her advice. It was accepted and published in May 2008.

C.R. Moss: My first published fiction story was Deliverance - Si'Ludo Sisters: Book 1 in May 2008. It is the first story in my print book The Mystics. Before then, my writing credits were in the non-fiction venue (press releases, newspaper articles and corporate newsletters.)

C.R. Moss: It depends upon my mood and my muse. If my muse is chattering away, I'll do what I call an information dump ~ lots of narrative or dialogue or basic ideas for a chapter/the story ~ which is my way of outlining. If he's not very communicative, I'll write what I can until he intervenes.
