Author: Lisa Beth Darling | Website
Lisa has been married for the last 25 years to her wonderful husband, Roy. The two live in New London, CT where they raised two (now adult) daughters.
Lisa was recently voted the Author of the Month for Elves on Shelves and is the winner of a plethora of awards for her earlier works. She is the author of 11 novels and 30+ short stories in the Dark Romance genre.
Always enthralled by romantic relationships. Lisa began writing Dark Romance stories in the 7th grade. A fact which her fellow students adored but often got her called down to the Guidance Counselor's Office to discuss her stories. Not deterred by the counselors but instead spurred onward by them (although they puzzled over the content of her work at such a young age, they always complimented her creativity and the way she told a story) her teachers and classmates, Lisa continued to hone her craft.
Today she brings conflict and suspense to unique couples through her full length novels. Never one to shy away from the less pleasant things in life, and instead believing it is in the Darkness where Character is created, determined, and defined, her heroes and heroins have their love tested by demons from within and without.
Her latest full-length novel "The Heart of War" blends timeless Greek Mythology with Erotica, Romance, and Suspense as Ares God of War falls in love with Alena, a seemingly fragile Fey. The lovely Alena is on the run from Cernunnos, Celtic God of the Forest and Death. The peace and quiet of Ares' secluded Greek isle is interrupted when the Olympians demand he turned her over to them. Glorious battles, hot romance, and dark passions combine in "The Heart of War".
Look for the sequel "Child of War" in late 2011.

Dream Weaver
A story of Steamy Romance, Gritty Suspense, & Dark Obsession. Enter a world where even the sweetest of dreams can turn into a nightmare.
Elizabeth Love is a wife and mother who loves her daughters dearly but has been trapped in a sexually and physically abusive marriage to her husband, Scott Travers, for the last two decades. Lizzie turns to writing stories for her favorite TV show Galaxy Gateway to escape the trials of her life; her husband, his friend Randy "The Adonis", the crazy clients in the law firm where she works, the bickering amongst her girls and the ever-increasing stack of bills which she lives under.
Michael Garrett a/k/a Dennis Johnson of Galaxy Gateway fame has just lost his job. The show has been canceled after 10 years on the air and he is now faced with the unenviable task of looking for work as he tries to break out of the genre of science fiction and being type cast as the 'nerdy geeky doctor'. Married to the diva Gabriella Phideaux for the last four years, they have two children whom Michael adores but Gabby could do without.
With the her favorite show going off the air, Lizzie writes an original novel "The Shaw Street Strangler" which is quite out of character for her and the darkly erotic material she's come to write about Dennis over the years. Breaking out of the mold the book is a smash but not everyone is happy when Lizzie is forced to stop writing her Galaxy Gateway stories and soon the threats pour in to the offices of Pauline Depoix, a high-powered literary agent who's taken Lizzie on as a client. When the novel hits, Michael sees his way out of second-rate roles on second-rate television shows. He jumps off the page and into Lizzie's life as he helps her write the movie script. Much against the warnings of her husband, Scott, and Lizzie's better judgment, romance blossoms under the hot California sun.
All is not well as the Masked Panty Raider, a huge fan of Lizzie's Galaxy Gateway stories for the past several years, sets out to get her back. Adopting the persona of Eddie from Elizabeth's novel he stalks her over the Internet and into the Real World, following her from her home in Connecticut to British Columbia and a cozy cabin where Michael and Lizzie are snowed in alone together for three days. Finally The Masked Panty Raider follows her to Hollywood and the set of "The Shaw Street Strangler".
But who is the Masked Panty Raider? Just some whack-job from the Internet? Someone from Lizzie's past? Scott? Randy "The Adonis"? Or is it....perhaps....Michael?
Sweeping romance combined with drama and suspense will keep you turning pages until you find out Whodunit.
The Heart of War
Inside the Heart of every Warrior breathes the Soul of a Hero--even within The Heart of War. Meet Ares God of War, the greatest Warrior the world has ever known. He's moody, grumpy, dominant, ravenously sexual, and above all, built like a Greek God. Suspected of killing his Daughter in-Law, Psyche, and long in exile from Olympus, the solitude of Ares' island is interrupted when Magdalena MacLeod a brash and sometimes manipulative Fey washes up on Ares' island after believing she's been shipwrecked. It's not mere fate that has brought the unlikely couple together yet it may be what tears them apart. Branded with a golden chastity belt bearing the mark of Cernunnos, Celtic God of the Forest and Death, Alena has been on the run from her husband the Great Horned God for 200 years. When the Olympians discover her presence on Ares' island, they send Apollo to the island while Ares is away with orders to bring her to Olympus. Diplomatically winding her way out of immediately going to Olympus, when Ares returns and with nowhere to turn, Alena strikes a bargain with the God of War--her virginity for his protection. Ares sees a sweeter deal; her in his bed and himself back in his rightful place on Olympus even if it means turning Alena over to Zeus. After Alena proves herself to Ares in battle and his bed, the God of War must choose between his Divinely Dysfunctional Family, his pride, and Alena. Ares and Alena share a love that will rock the world from the heights of Olympus to the Celtic moors, but will it be enough? Will love triumph, or will revenge and rage win the battle for the Heart of War?
