Elena wants to be a doctor in 1888 Victorian England, an almost unheard of occupation, but she’s also a beautiful young woman with connections to some of Jack’s murder victims. Archer, Lord Black is Elena’s guardian, and an immortal Shadow Guard charged with finding and reclaiming Jack’s evil soul. Along the way Archer and Elena fall in love, and Jack figures it out. Putting Elena directly into Jack’s path.
This is the first work by Ms. Lenox and first in the Shadow Guards series. It is excellently done and will pull you in from first page to last. Based on this first work I foresee a bright and shining future for Ms. Lenox.
