A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Chris
When Hillary reluctantly accompanies her boyfriend home to meet his folks, what promises to be an uncomfortable situation turns into a nightmare of epic proportions. Unwillingly and painfully indoctrinated into the world of werewolves, she is left for dead when she doesn’t change. When the rogue pack who changed her go to sleep, she sees her chance, changes form and runs for her life. Four years later she has a small business, a few close friends, and steers deliberately clear of any signs of other wolves. But when Aaron shows up on her doorstep to commission a gift for his brother, she discovers not all wolves, or men for that matter, are bad.
Zach is Alpha of his pack and unmated. When his brother informs him of Hillary’s existence and circumstances, his first thought after scenting her on his brother is “mine.” So begins a careful seduction of a woman who has endured much and emerged an Alpha.
Not so much love as lust at first sight, Zach and Hillary quickly discover they belong together for more reasons than mere chemistry. Zach and his packs’ instant acceptance and defense of Hillary was heartwarming. While shape shifting romances are the rage right now, this one provided interesting insights a little different than the norm and more story development about the pack’s inner workings and hierarchy. Very emotional and erotic, a highly recommended read.

Book Blurb for Alpha Turned
Book Length: Novel
Not all men are bad…
Strong, independent, and happy on her own, Hillary has grown from the naïve person she was four years ago, after a brutal rape turned her into a werewolf. The normal life she’s made for herself is only upset when the moon calls to her and she has an uncontrollable urge to turn furry and chase small creatures. And she doesn’t need a man for that…until she finally meets another werewolf, this one a gorgeous, sexy guy who is determined to change her mind about one furry man in particular—him.
No, some men are very, very good…
The minute Zach scents Hillary he knows she’s the mate he’s been searching for. Though both the wolf and the man are itching to claim her, first he has to convince her that he’s one of the good guys, and that there are certain benefits to being an alpha werewolf. And there’s no better way of making Hillary see that than giving her himself—body, mind and soul.
