A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Chris
A warrior through and through, Brianna Koll has no qualms about doing her duty. But when she is thrown into an Initiation that shouldn’t be taking place, while the Lair is under attack no less, she’s totally mystified by her intense reaction to the Initiation subject Lieutenant Colonel Sam Briggs, United States Military. The reason for the rite? To create a serum via his semen post initiation to protect the male population of Earth from the Egesa Slave Masters’ diseases and poisons.
An order is an order, and if it includes going through the public, erotic, multi-partner ceremony to help save his planet, Sam’s more than willing. He’s drawn to Brianna; her alien genetics intrigue and excite him. Once they are intimate, it quickly becomes more than just physical. Two people in an impossible situation falling in love. What could be more important? How about the Egesa are on their way to Earth to enslave the planet….
I thought this book would focus on Brianna and Sam, but it was way more than that. The gangs all here from the previous books, and they are in a life threatening situation with unbelievable pressure. Paranoia anyone? With all the spying, lying, military security clearance restrictions, mistrust and just plain claustrophobia, this was quite the read. More questions were answered, some huge secrets were exposed, and as expected flaming hot sexual love scenes that you expect from this author. The fourth installment of the Xylon Warriors was a thrilling read, but I hope it doesn’t take too long for the next book; some serious cliffhangers that need closure.

Book 4 in the Xylon Warriors series.
Sex and survival.
Xylon Warrior Brianna Koll is determined to concentrate on her duty. But she’s drawn to an Earth man, Lieutenant Colonel Sam Briggs, in ways she’s never felt before. Now her duty will bring them even closer. She needs to sexually Initiate Sam in order to save Earth. The rite—a breeding preparation and protection ceremony for Xylon Warriors—will alter his semen, so a serum can be developed to protect Earthlings from the Egesa Slave Masters’ diseases and poisons.
To save Earth, Sam is more than willing to go through the public, erotic, multi-partner ceremony. And to be with Brianna. Her alien genetics intrigue him. But it’s become more than just physical. His sexual fantasies about her have grown into true passion. Only their commitment to their people and to each other will enable them to survive and they don’t have much time. The Egesa are on their way to Earth to enslave the planet.
