Jake enters Teri’s life at a time when all is in an uproar. The chemistry is hot and fast, but wouldn’t it be stupid to act on it when she’s accused of murdering his wife? Jake doesn’t seem to think so, and does all he can to help clear Teri’s name, find the real culprit, and get Teri where she belongs; with him.
The third installment in the Pure Wildfire, Moonfire was a welcome addition. The author took a different direction with Jake and Teri’s romance. I enjoyed it more than the previous two installments. The chemistry between the two was smoking after Teri got over her “OMG he’s a rock star” mentality. It’s also always fun to read about a former playboy being felled by a woman.
A possessive former boyfriend, shape shifting, a twisting storyline and a surprise ending, I thoroughly enjoyed the read.
