A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Chris
Saved from a possible rape, Robin can’t forget the man who went to prison for her. Patrick was a stranger but put it all on the line for her six years ago, and paid for it by being railroaded since the assailant was related to the law. Robin visited him in prison, and they became friends of a sort. But Robin could never let herself believe there could be more, even though her body reacts ever time he is near. Things are coming to a crisis though since her boyfriend Jay has asked her to marry him. Can she marry Jay while her body craves Patrick?
Doing the honest thing Robin lays it all out for Jay, not wanting any secrets between them. Jay has the solution. Sleep with him. Given a license, Robin presents a proposition to Patrick. And he takes it. Where can this twisted road lead?
All mature adults, all making informed decisions, Jay, Robin and Patrick appear to have it all together. But are they really nuts? Emotions don’t follow rules, and this is a disaster in the making. While a menage would be the perfect solution, that’s never on the table. Jay and Patrick both wants Robin, but which man’s attitude toward her will win her in the end? The man willing to tolerate anything to have her, or the man willing to kill to keep her his alone?
How could this be anything but hot??? Fraught with controversy and emotional angst, I wouldn’t want to be Robin for anything. Okay, maybe a little. My choice was made in the beginning, but the fun was seeing if Robin would make the same choice I would have. A different story from the norm, and well worth your attention.

Book Blurb for Ruin Me
Short Novel -
In her head, Robin wants to marry her boyfriend. Everything about her relationship with Jay makes sense—makes her happy—but she can’t bring herself to accept his proposal. Her body has unfinished business with Patrick, the man who saved her life six years ago. For a long time she assumed her potent feelings for Patrick were born of fear, wrapped up in the night she was attacked, but now she’s realizing it’s far simpler than that. She wants him. Always has, always will.
More attached to Robin than the idea of her being faithful, Jay gives her the green light to go after Patrick in the hopes that it will demystify the man and get him out of Robin’s system. It begs the question—if you’ve got permission, is it still cheating? And which will ultimately sway the heart—reason or attraction?
Reader Advisory: Robin makes some decisions that might seem to stray into the realm of infidelity…but with a temptation like Patrick, who could blame her?
