Scent of a Vampire: Provided a different take on the cause of vampirism and other worldly beings existence as a result of evolution. I found this novel to be thoroughly enjoyable from the first page. Our heroine, Olivia, is thrust into a world where not everything is as it seems. We are taught that things that go bump in the night are not real, but ultimately they are very real. More than human and totally out of her depth, Olivia must place her trust in two very sexy vampires, Roberto and Alex, if she is to realize her true potential.
The sexual tension and uncontrollable desire exhibited by the characters combined with the mysteries that unfold during the novel, provide a steady flow to the story. I found the spontaneity of the hot and very steamy love scenes added a flare of unpredictability to the story and allowed a reader to enjoy the characters enjoyment of each other in a very tasteful way.
The development of the back-stories for characters other than Olivia, Roberto and Alex, added an additional layers to the novel and provided a better understanding of the other characters motivations and actions.
The steady progression of the novel is propagated by the challenges, decisions and actions of the characters in such away that the novel succeeds in flowing to an ultimate conclusion. I enjoyed this book immensely from start to finish.
