Stacy Newman thinks she has gotten over the night she spent with Sloane Hoffman months earlier at the Christmas party. She had feelings for him at that point and from the way he was reacting to her, she thought he had them for her too. But once she mentioned the words, “commitment” or “settling down” Sloane ran as far away from her as possible. He is a playboy in every sense of the word and isn’t ready to settle down with just one person yet. So, from that time on, he has jumped from one fling to the next in search of finding happiness that he ultimately knew he wouldn’t find with the shallow women he was dating.

 

Wanting to get ahead in her career, Stacy knew that she one day wanted to be able to make enough money that she could open her very own lingerie shop and sex game store. While working at Naughty Games Company she has learned what sells and what doesn’t. So she decides to work on her own game in her free time with the hopes that one day she could pitch it to NGC and they would market it. But, while doing that, she knows she has to go out on a limb to be noticed so she accepts an invitation sent to her by the company’s owner, Max Hoffman, to have a week of fun filled sex by testing out a few games the company wants to market. She will be teamed up with a partner and live in the penthouse located in NGC’s building for one whole week. Maybe then she will be noticed a bit more and things will start coming together for her.

 

When she goes to accept the invitation and speak with Max, she finds out that her partner is going to be the one and only man she deep down still has feelings for, Sloane, the boss’ son. They enter into this as a “business only” agreement and hope that things don’t get complicated along the way. Little do they know that by taking on this challenge, things are going to change for the both of them over the next few days.

 

What happens to them while they stay in the penthouse testing out the games they chose for the company? Does this bring them closer together or further apart? Do they decide to talk over what happened that one night when Sloane left and never looked back? Could this encounter be what Sloane needs to decide that Stacy is the one he wants to settle down with?

 

I thought this was a fantastic story from the start. I loved the creative storyline and enjoyed that Sloane and Stacy were going to “work” together for one whole week. I hoped that even though they were using the games as the excuse for their spending time together, that they would open up to each other and see where they really stood with one another. I thought Stacy was perfect for Sloane and I only wished that he would eventually see that himself. Ms. Ash is a very talented storyteller and she knows how to transport you into her storyline with ease. Well done, Ms. Ash!
