Insurance Appraiser Andrea Hastings is on a mission to seduce the man who was her high school crush. Although he turned her down in high school, it didn’t stop her from thinking about him even after all these years have passed. Since he’s back in town now, Andrea wants to know what it would be like if things turned out differently for her and Tyler Landry.
Now, as an adult, she finally has a shot at seducing him. Thing is he’s running for police chief and Andrea’s brother has a criminal record. Ironically, important things around town are missing too. These things could seriously affect Tyler from being elected if the mysteries aren’t solved.
The town thinks he’s a hero, but he has a secret that could change everyone’s mind and destroy all his plans.
Does Tyler’s secret come out? Is he elected police chief or does his reputation get destroyed? What happens between Andrea and Tyler?
I found this story to be fun and quite entertaining. I wondered what would come of Andrea and Tyler if they were to start something together. I even had hoped if they did, that it would turn into something special for the both of them. But between the missing items around town and her brother’s troubled past, I wondered if Tyler was going to be elected police chief after all. Better still, if they started something together was it even worth fighting for now since there seemed to be a few complications getting in the way of things this time around? I thought this was a sexy story with some compelling characters that I instantly fell in love with. I would definitely recommend this story to other readers and look forward to reading more from this author in the near future.
