Callum Fraser, Laird of Clan Fraser, is hopelessly in love with Lady Alys. He has never before felt like this for any woman and he knows that he wants to make her his wife. All goes well for them during their vow exchange and they start to enjoy their wedding reception with their guests. Never did they expect one of the guests to be none other than Alexander Field, the husband she married two years ago and thought had died when he never returned to her and their son.
What will Alys do now that she is newly married to Callum and her estranged husband, Alex, wants her and their young son to leave immediately to return home to London? Who will Alys decide to be her lawful husband?
This was an amazing story of love between Alys and Callum. I felt bad for Alys that on her wedding day to the man she was so in love with turned out to be a nightmare because her estranged husband shows up to claim his wife and son. My heart was torn in two for how Alys and Callum were feeling once Alex was back into the picture again. If you love historicals and a beautiful love story wrapped around it, this is a great book for you to consider!
