A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Dianna
Lila is being initiated being drawn into the service of Dionysus. Drawn back into the room she was in earlier, she sees the X from earlier. She knows that by the time this part of her initiation is over, she will wish for it again when this trial was over. Seeing so much that she had never seen before, she prays that she can successfully complete her initiation or she will be sent away never to again grace the doors of the temple of Dionysus.
Adrianne Brennan has written a novella that will both make you sweat and liquefy your insides at the same time. Summoned is a red hot story, that makes me crave much more. Magnificently written, and beautifully done, it is enough to make you need to change your clothes, and find your significant other. All I can think is DAMN!

Book Blurb for The Oath Book Two: Summoned
Years ago, Lila pledged herself to the Greek god Dionysus, and the act of devotion changed her entire life. Now, her desire to serve has brought her to the doorstep of a secret society known only as “The Order”. Through sexual magick and ritual submission she can become her truest self and achieve her magickal destiny.
But the trials of the initiation challenge even the strongest of wills. Can Lila’s transformation through erotic servitude bring her closer to fulfilling her dreams?
Summoned: Lila must summon the strength and courage necessary to undergo the second ordeal of her initiation when she learns what it means to be a living altar.
