A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Edie
Adelle Laudan has admirably provided a provocative follow-up to her award-winning Iron Horse Rider. Iron Horse Rider 2 - Coming Home begins as Tia and Shane head back toward the Micmac mountain camp. Along the way, they join a Romani caravan traveling in their direction. As they head toward the Fall fair in Langley where Tia will meet with her family, they learn the ways of the gypsy. Knowing her family will object to her new friends, Tia nonetheless joins the women in their daily activities and learns the true meaning of unconditional love and friendship. She also sees a similarity between the head of the gypsy caravan and her own father, head of the Micmac tribe. When danger threatens to destroy the growing bond between the disparate groups, they learn just how much they have in common - a love for the two travelers riding in the wind. As Shane's past comes back to haunt him, and Tia finds she is fighting for her life, the two are torn between family obligations and their desire for the freedom of the open road. Adelle Lauden continues the Iron Horse saga with vivid honest portrayals of the all too human emotions of love, hate, and eventually, true forgiveness. The duo rides into the wind as they continue towards their destiny, not knowing if they will ever see each other again. The well-paced plot of Iron Rider 2 - Coming Home will captivate the reader throughout this beautiful story. This edition provides an absorbing look at how people of different cultures sometimes struggle to understand one another. Of interest to Adelle Laudan fans - the saga will continue in Iron Horse Rider 3.

Book Blurb for Coming Home - Iron Horse Rider 2
Bikers, gypsies, and natives... three very different cultures are brought together when Tia and Shane join a caravan of travelling Romani on their way back to the mountains. They are introduced to a world of fire breathers, belly dancers, and crystal balls. Not all of Tia's Micmac family are happy about it, which puts her in grave danger. Will Shane come to the lovely Tia's rescue? Can the ghosts of his past finally rest in peace so he can love again, or is he destined to a life alone riding in the wind?
