A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Jen Jen

Golden Christmas is an enticing story that encompassed the lives of Nikolas Jaconsen and Joy Heatherfield. As an artist and owner of an art gallery, Nikolas is a man onto himself. He is a quiet man, a man with deep thoughts and a lot of passion toward his artistic talents. Due to the loss of his mother, Nikolas hadn't had the time to draw. But instead he is devoting all his time into running the art gallery. As fate has it, on one cold winter night, Joy is left stranded in Mallard Bay due to a snow storm. Sparks fly between these two strangers the instant they meet. Will Nikolas let Joy walk out of his life a second time, especially with the aid of a Christmas miracle?

I love reading Christmas stories. Golden Christmas was just as warm and fuzzy on a cold night as any hot chocolate would be. However, I think Joy was a bit insecure in herself and her relationship with Nick. The constant reminder and reassurance from Nick was over played throughout the book. Other than that, Golden Christmas was light-hearted and the chemistry between all the characters was right on target. The humor between Nick and his friends was easy to follow and you can't help but laugh with them.

Book Blurb for Golden Christmas

When Nick Jacobsen finds himself sheltering a woman whose car is stuck in a snow drift on Christmas Eve, his holiday plans change-for the better.

Joy Heatherfield never dreamed she'd wind up in a blizzard, only to be given shelter and finding herself tempted by the handsomest man she has ever seen.

Their mutual attraction is instant and combustible. But when Nick and Joy travel to Florida together to discuss an exhibition of his paintings, trouble is on the horizon.

Will Nick be able to mend his fences with the lovely Joy? And will Joy find it in her heart to forgive his unintentional blunder?
