Every time I read one of Pamela Palmer's "Feral Warriors" Series I swear it's the best one. I lied again. HUNGER UNTAMED is the best! (Just wait until I read the next one, of course!)
Taking up where the last book, Rapture Untamed, ended, this book has already promised a love story beyond the norm. Hawke and Tighe are lost during battle in a Mage's spirit world; their deaths are a certainty within a few days’ time. Kougar knows there's one person who can help save them. Ariana, Queen of the Ilinas. But Ariana can't and won't help. The secret to her refusal will cause more bitter heartache between her and Kougar. Life mates, Kougar and Ariana have been separated for over a thousand years because of betrayal and misunderstandings. They know they can never bring their two different races together --they can never accept their love. But when the immortal Mage threatens all, releasing a darkness upon the world that proves beyond comprehension, Kougar and Ariana have to find a way to fight together.
Full of bittersweet love, betrayals, complications, secrets, and sacrifices, this nonstop action story is a fantastic read. The world of the Immortal Feral Warriors is dangerous, dark, secretive, and the nine remaining sexy shapeshifters are all prime Alpha men. A Heroine's dream come true. Although the setting is contemporary Washington, Ms. Palmer builds a paranormal world like none other and readers are pulled into its intriguing reality, and left wanting more.
There's a great (and of course HAPPY) ending, but rest assured Evil is not done with the Feral Warriors and their mates. There are still four more warriors needing to find their Life Mates as they fight the battles to come.
