Emma Dupre lost her best friend Nickie. He was the only person in the world who knew her. On the night of his burial she let go and just forgot about everything. She forgot about life, Nickie’s death and most of all her identity. One night of passion with a stranger is all she needed. The man knew how to kiss, touch her and made her just enjoy. Emma never expected though to meet the stranger again. It was supposed to be just one night yet seeing Kyle again is bringing back all the feelings she had that night again. It was supposed to be one night. Now she has something that will always remind her of that night. Will Kyle forgive her?
She gave no name, but she did give all of herself to him that night. It’s been a night he has not forgotten. Kyle has searched for her for years and never expected she would be at the same place he is starting to work. Emma is definitely all he remembered and more. She is still beautiful yet something about her has enchanted him again. He knows she is hiding something but doesn’t know what. All Kyle knows is that he wants more of that night, but he wants it every night. Each time he thinks he’s made headway in Emma’s life she shies away. Can Kyle convince Emma that he wants her in his life forever?
Death is hard to overcome but yet no matter how hard you try there is a reminder. For Emma it is Kyle that reminds her of her one night of recklessness. She knows that Nickie would not have been pleased but Kyle made her forget all of the loneliness and the belief of not being loved ever again. Seeing him shows that the attraction is still there. I loved that even though they are reunited again Emma denies the attraction yet is weak when it comes to his kisses.
Mary Eason did a beautiful job of these two for the love is definitely there till the end. It was supposed to be a night to forget, yet these two cannot forget. They can only remember the great passion they both experienced. A Night to Remember is definitely a great book to read and Mary is one talented author that you cannot pass up.
