Alison Carter is tired of doing the dating scene. She’s getting really bummed. All her friends have found someone to love them. Seeing them all happy and in love just makes her wonder why she hasn’t found someone. So out of a desperate choice she joins a matchmaking service. It’s not your typical service. It’s not run by a woman but by a man. Seeing Brandon Scott as a matchmaker should have alarmed her, but something about him makes her heart go pitter patter. He tries so hard to set her up, yet on each one just confuses her more. Is he sabotaging her chances or just faking as a matchmaker? Another thing is why cannot she forget about Brandon? Brandon Scott doesn’t believe in love. He was raised by a father who went through women like a shopping cart. It put a sour taste in him on the subject of love. Krista is a beautiful woman and makes him wonder why she would need a matchmaking service. His grandmother always told him that love will find him some way and now he’s unsure about Krista. Her heart is set on finding someone, but seeing her with a man besides him tears him apart. Is he ready for love or is life playing a cruel trick on him? This is the first I have read from Jane Graves and have to say I loved it. It’s not your usual romance and this made it better for it’s about a matchmaking service. I loved that Brandon Scott hates anything that deals with love and tries to stay above it. Now Krista was fun to read about for each date was a laugh and seeing how she got out of it was hilarious. All in all it was a great book to read and this is definitely an author to keep up with. Great job.
