A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Melinda
Andre Duncan, Earl Westbrook has known heaven and hell. He married his mistress, which shocked the entire ton. Not only married her but gave her his name. For the most part it was heaven because he had a woman who knew how passionate he was and a marriage. The only thing is that he made one mistake and his wife is treating him well like any London wife. Cold. All Andre wants is his wife back in his life. Each time he tries to befriend her again she cuts him off. He has no idea what to do. He just knows he cannot go on with a sham of a marriage anymore. He knows Corina is the one woman for him, which is why he married her in the first place. Or is it?
Lady Corina is tired of being…well a lady. Before Andre she was the talk of the ton. Every woman wanted to be like her. She was a lady of the night, a mistress and did whatever she wanted to do. When Andre proposed to her it was great but he showed his true self to her. Now a year later she is tired of him. She wants to be more than a wife. She wants to be a mistress again. As a mistress she knew passion, lust and freedom. With marriage, even with a gorgeous man like Andre she knows only of a cold bed. There are also the hushed voices of the ton and even threats to her life. Can Andre see her as more than a wife?
Donna McAteer and Catherine Stang rocked in this book. Two clever minds merged to make a great story. This is every reader’s dream of an awesome book.
I loved that Corina was not your usual happy dovey lady who found the rich catch of the ton. No instead she wants out of the marriage and to be what she used to be, a mistress. Now Andre, when these two are like they used to be you can feel the passion in him towards her. I loved the whole I hate you don’t want to speak you scenes and the take me now scenes. Those were so HOT. Donna McAteer and Catherine Stang both blended this book together with the best of their craft. I can’t wait for more from these two imaginative minds.

Book Blurb for More Than A Wife
Andre Duncan, Earl Westbrook, discovers how complicated life can be when you marry your mistress. Many of the things he loved about Corina when she was his mistress embarrass him now that she is his wife. Can he really have both a wife and a lover all in one?
Convinced that she can’t be a proper wife for Andre, Corina moves out and tries to persuade him to let her go. Her stubborn husband won’t agree, risking further damage to his standing in society.
Enter two outspoken women of the ton who call themselves The Bliss Society. They offer Corina an exchange: her knowledge of sexual expertise for theirs of how to be a respectable ton wife. Does she dare hope that she can overcome a bad beginning? Will the ton allow her to?
They want what their husbands give their mistresses: pleasure.
