A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Melinda
Do fairy tales exist? Does love exist after the happily ever after? That is something that Sarah Collier has stopped believing in. At a young age she realized how crazy it was to believe that Travis Walker was her soul mate. She always believed that by making the kismet cookies and laying them under her pillow she would meet her soul mate. Now that she is older she knows love doesn’t really exist but one little girl might be the one to change her life. Sarah swore she would never come back to her hometown, the town where her soul mate still resides. Travis was her everything and somehow the only man she has always compared to even now. Seeing him now after years of saying she was over him is all coming back to her. Can she just up and leave again with her heart still intact?
Travis Walker will do anything for his little girl Jazzy. She loves the children’s author Sadie Cool and her Christmas time books for it brings her hope of love and happily ever after. The thing is that he knows he doesn’t have enough time with his little girl but will treasure every day he has with her. What he didn’t expect was Sadie be the same girl who captured his heart on the day of his wedding. He knew years ago that she would be memorable and has never left with his heart. Now seeing her again makes him feel for the first time an emotion he swore he would never feel, love. Seeing Sarah again with Jazzy makes him realize what has been missing from their lives. Can he prove to Sarah what she has been missing in her life? How long will he have his little girl in his life?
One word for the works of Lori Wilde is wow. From the beginning to the end this book she captured my heart. I loved how she introduced us to so many characters by showing us more than just their names but their lives as well. The whole story behind Travis and Sarah is remarkable and enchanting in every way. Sarah is definitely a woman who needs to believe in love again and Travis is definitely the man for her. The love between them is sweet and little Jazzy is such a cute, sweet kid that will warm your heart. I loved it and great job for Lori. I can’t wait for more of her talented work.

Book Blurb for The First Love Cookie Club
The townsfolk of Twilight, Texas, believe the legend, but not Sarah Collier—not since she was a pudgy teenager, running down the church aisle on Christmas Day in a jingle bell sweater and reindeer antlers, trying to stop Travis Walker from marrying someone else. She may be grown up, slimmed down, bestselling children’s book author “Sadie Cool” now, but Sarah will never forget that day. And she’ll never fall foolishly in love again!
But when a letter from a sick fan brings Sarah back to Twilight, she’s shocked to discover that Travis is the little girl’s father—unattached and hotter than ever. His movie-star smile still makes her melt, but Sarah knows that ship has sailed. Travis, however, might have different ideas.
And just because you don’t believe in fairy tales doesn’t mean they won’t come true…
