After learning on her wedding day that her fiancé was marrying her to ensure a partnership in her father’s hotel business Belle leaves him at the alter. Now six years later her father is in trouble thanks to a piece of property he bought to develop with Mitch. She’s done everything she can think of to try and help, but is no closer to finding a solution when she gets a call about planning the grand opening events for a new hotel. Mitch’s hotel. Taking the job would give her the chance to see if there was anything left between them and maybe get Mitch to help her father. Would she be able to keep from falling in love with him again?
Mitch Carter had fallen in love with Belle all those years ago, even if he going to reap additional benefits for marrying her when she bails on the wedding she single handedly planned he’s angry. Almost angry enough to reject the idea of hiring her and her party planning company to handle the hotels opening. He told himself that the only reason he hired her was because she was the best and not because he was still harboring feelings for her. The question he kept asking himself was would he be able to keep lying to himself once she was around all the time?
Coming On Strong is a fun sexy story. I liked the characters and plot. This was an enjoyable quick paced book.
